Knew it. One year mark is just enough to have the whole run of the imPort experience under your belt, mindfucks included. By this point you're entering the 'acceptance' phase, where you push through all your acquired traumas, slow on the breakdowns and exit out the other side into a kind of grumbling and tortured acceptance. Love isn't dead yet, but it's pretty damn close. It's alright, we all get there when we last enough.

i'm pretty sure i passed that a while ago whatever happens happens. i just want to try and help people through it where i can.

Damn it's like that? This place is a little better organized, isn't it. It's nice having less to worry about in terms of survival while you're suffering your 3rd breakdown of the season. And yet still, no damn therapy. How about that group you were thinking of, some months back? Still interested?

i wouldn't know. i have nothing to compare it to. i got healing powers off the porter. breakdowns can wait? me wanting to cry about how unfair everything is doesn't mean shit when there are people who are hurt and actually need help. we're all going through the same thing. it's still on the table. something like that isn't easy to put together and i'm trying to strike a balance of it developing in a way that isn't like a government run operation but still structured enough to not be chaotic. i've done it before, i can do it again. just can't really do much planning when i'm dead.

You got a pretty good outlook on things, most imPorts considered. Certainly, it's better to have things well organized beforehand so a sudden dePortation doesn't cause everything to crumble. Spreading responsibility out amongst multiple imPorts and continually recruiting additional help would be my first idea, but on top of that I believe that natives should be involved as well. Natives who believe strongly in cooperation with imPorts. There's no positive future for imPorts in this world unless they gain true harmony with natives. Not simply for resources or even political reasons, but because there's no way everyone will be able to come to an understanding if we can't even comprehend the common ground we stand on. And for God's sake, no imPort therapists. Every single one is a crackpot.

yeah. i did think about all the import stuff that's probably fallen apart because of people being ported out. there's a few people i'm keeping in the know who're interested so if i get ported out then they have all the information and can do with it what they want. even if it's nothing. i wasn't planning on keeping them out, i think the natives could be very helpful. there's no point thinking "well, they don't know anything because they're not imports." it's stupid. they know import affects more than anything, seeing as they see us come and go constantly and are the real ones that suffer when imports go and do something stupid when they feel bad. whatever it'll be, it wont' be formal therapy. just having someone who knows what its like when your loved one or best friend is ported out or comes back and doesn't remember you to say "i'm sorry, that sucks" seemed to interest a lot of people. just someone to have so they're not so alone. or someone to stay with if they wake up in an empty house. even if it's a native. turning away people who want to help other people would be counter productive.

Agreed on all. Yeah, I'm not gonna say I'm the most reliable guy- I get myself into sticky situations aplenty and I can be mired in my own bullshit. But I don't drag my work into my offtime and I'd like to at least be able to drift in and out to help as much as I can. Well, if you need any support, maybe native charitable connections I work with, or things to reflect on, my comm's always open. And remember to take care of yourself, Mister.

i don't think anyone can say that. the reason i still haven't done anything is because i was sunk in the bog of my own bullshit the last couple months. thanks, though figures a priest would have good native connections, huh? well, i'll get in touch when i can do this.
