No, that's not it.

It's more like, wherever Lachesis goes, disaster follows. In dramatic fashion no less.

That's the reason for us being here after all, so we just have to put up with it. Until the next stage of her family squabble hits, anyway, I guess.

That's sort of another topic, though... The idea is more that within the pressure cooker, you might change into something else, for better or worse. I'd prefer for all my friends if it were better.
